LIMU formed a visiting committee for the “CSH!” Olympiad in Rostov-on-Don

The final round of the “Conquer the Sparrow Hills!” Olympiad for school students was held from April 3 to 5, 2026, which has been organized by Moscow State University and the Publishing House “Moskovsky Komsomolets” for over 20 years. The Olympiad covers 10 subjects and allows the winning students to get 100 points on the Unified State Exam (USE) or enter the university without entrance examinations.

This year, the Olympiad was held at seven locations across Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Penza, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, Kazan, and Rostov-on-Don. LIMU research fellows Sergey Tsysar, Anastasia Lapina, and Ekaterina Ponomarchuk were invited to the Rostov-on-Don site to act as a visiting examination committee.

Apart from the Olympiad, the trip allowed the LIMU team to meet with our colleagues from the Department of Ferro-Piezoelectric Materials, Instruments, and Devices at Southern Federal University and visit a new city!
