B-Sim software package:
An open-access software package with a graphical user interface (GUI) for modelling the nonlinear propagation of high-amplitude plane acoustic waves.
B-Sim is a software package for a comparative analysis of the efficiency of various time-domain algorithms for solving the Burgers equation, which is used in nonlinear acoustics to model the propagation of acoustic waves with shocks.
B-Sim can be used as an auxiliary tool for choosing the optimal numerical algorithm for calculating nonlinear and thermoviscous absorption operators for both research and educational purposes to demonstrate the features of numerical methods in courses on nonlinear and computational acoustics.
The recommended version of MATLAB is 2023 or later!
