Pavel Rosnitskiy received a Student Award 2016 from the Acoustical Society of America; he was also recognized for the best 2015 young scientist project in the MSU contest established by O.V.Deripaska; and published a paper in IEEE UFFC journal. Congratulations Pavel!
Oleg Sapozhnikov, Vera Khokhlova, Timofey Krit, and Maria Karzova presented LIMU at the 5th Joint Meeting of the Acoustical Society of America and Acoustical Society of Japan. The Meeting was organized in Honolulu, Hawaii, during 28 November - 2 December 2016.
Our fellow Timofey Krit participated in the filming of TV program “Life and the city” broadcasted on “M24” TV channel. The release of the program was devoted to the contests that take place in the nation’s capital and result in the financial support from the Moscow Government in the form of grants and awards.
In September 2016 researcher Sergey Tsysar and PhD students of LIMU Anastasiya Nikolaeva and Elena Annenkova participated in International Ultrasonic Symposium (IUS2016). Anastasiya presented a poster about radiation force of the quasi-Gaussian beam incident on the elastic scatterer. Sergey gave a talk about transcranial ultrasonic imaging. Elena gave an oral presentation about modelling nonlinear processes inside a liquid drop of acoustic fountain. She became one of the student paper competition finalists.
In August 2016 LIMU Heads Vera Khokhlova and Oleg Sapozhnikov presented lectures at the 5th International Symposium on Focused Ultrasound (FUSF16). The Symposium was devoted to leading edge preclinical, translational, and clinical research related to one of today's most promising and innovative therapeutic ultrasound technologies. LIMU researchers received awards in the contest of Moscow State University Development Program 2016. M.M. Karzova, O.A. Sapozhnikov, V.A. Khokhlova and P.V. Yuldashev received 1st degree awards for achievements in scientific research and S.A. Tsisar - for achievements in teaching.
