Junior research fellow Pavel Rosnitskiy and PhD student Anastasia Kvashennikova (Tyurina) became laureates of the rector's scholarship of Moscow State University for 2023. PhD student Elena Konnova and bachelor student Arina Mironova became winners of the BASIS Foundation competition for scholarships for students of the Faculty of Physics of Moscow State University. Maria Karzova gave a lecture to the students of the school AESC MSU

On 22nd of November 2022, a meeting of senior researcher Maria Karzova with 11th grade students took place at the Kolmogorov boarding school AESC MSU. Maria Karzova gave a lecture about physical methods in medicine, the prospects of ultrasound surgery in the future, and the possibilities of scientific work at the LIMU laboratory.

The LIMU team has published a paper on histotripsy liquefaction of ex vivo human prostate tissue in atop-rated journal Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (Q1)

A paper titled «Initial assessment of boiling histotripsy for mechanical ablation of ex vivo human prostate tissue» has been published in top-rated journal Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (Q1, IF 3.694). The study came as a result of joint efforts of a multidisciplinary team, which included LIMU fellows (Khokhlova V.A., Rosnitskiy P.B., Tsysar S.A., Ponomarchuk E.M., Sapozhnikov O.A., and Karzova M.M.), physicists, and medical doctors from different institutions. The co-authors were affiliated with the Faculty of fundamental medicine of MSU, Medical Research and Educational Center of MSU, the Research Institute of Human Morphology, and the University of Washington.

The bank of LIMU's achievements is growing. According to the results of the grants competition for MS and PhD programs, Fedor Nartov, Lyubov Kotelnikova and Daria Chupova became the winners. Oleg Solotsov and Fedor Nartov received FUSF grants for scientific research during the summer. Elena Konnova and Lyubov Kotelnikova were awarded an advanced academic scholarship.

On the 21st of June, a solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas to graduates of the Faculty of Physics took place at the Moscow State University (MSU). All our graduates of the master's program-2022 Elena Konnova, Lyubov Kotelnikova, Polina Pestova, and Daria Chupova were awarded diplomas with honors by the rector of MSU. Fedor Nartov and Oleg Solontsov successfully completed the undergraduate program and got bachelor's degree. Congratulations to LIMU graduates on their diplomas!
