The “BASIS” Foundation for the Development of Theoretical Physics and Mathematics, established in 2016 to support Russian scientists at all stages of their careers with a focus on supporting young scientists and their involvement in leading scientific groups, organizes an annual scholarship competition for senior and postgraduate students of the Physics Faculty.

This year, as a result of the competition, the expert council of the Foundation supported the research project of our student, Fedor Nartov, studying the influence of the size of the central opening of HIFU transducers on the parameters of the nonlinear ultrasonic field in the focus.
