LIMU at the International Scientific Conference for Undergraduate and Graduate Students and Young Scientists "Lomonosov"

From April 10 to April 21 at Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, the International Scientific Conference for Undergraduate and Graduate Students and Young Scientists "Lomonosov-2023" was held. LIMU students presented their work in the Acoustics and Biophysics sections. The reports covered a wide range of current topics and areas of research: from practical applications of ultrasound in cosmetology, medicine and industry to mathematical modeling of the propagation of acoustic signals. The laboratory presented 7 reports at the conference. The participants showed a good level of preparation and made a worthy impression on the competition commission. The report of LIMU student Stepan Sorokin "Experimental modeling of image artifacts in ultrasound examination of human lungs" (acoustics) was recognized by the commission as the best among the presentations of undergraduate students.

Also presented their work:

Alina Bogoslavskaya, “Histological analysis of changes in time of the fibrin network in the in vitro human hematoma model” (biophysics)

Arina Mironova, "Numerical and experimental characterization of an annular phased array for histotripsy modes with electronic focus shift" (acoustics)

Andrey Misharin, "The impact of ultrasound on fiber flax" (acoustics)

Lilia Papikyan, "Nonlinear effects in cosmetic applications of high-intensity focused ultrasound" (acoustics)

Egor Petrov, “Using the Rayleigh Integral and the acoustic holography method to calculate the ultrasonic field radiated by a multi-eement antenna array in air” (acoustics)

Maria Sergeeva, “Modeling in the time representation of the generation of a difference frequency wave in the interaction of intense ultrasonic pump waves” (acoustics)

LIMU graduate students Ekaterina Ponomarchuk, Anastasia Kvashennikova, Polina Pestova and Shamil Asfandiyarov provided assistance to students in preparing reports for the conference.

Once again, congratulations to all participants and good luck in your future research!
