On June 3, 2024, students of the Department of Acoustics of the MSU Physics Faculty successfully passed the defense of their Master's theses. The following works were presented by LIMU students:

• Fedor Nartov: "Specifics of the acoustic field characteristics of typical high-power focusing ultrasonic arrays" (supervised by Vera Khokhlova, consultant Maria Karzova, reviewer Sergey Tsysar),
• Oleg Solontsov: "Comparison of ray and diffraction methods for correcting aberrations when focusing ultrasound through the skull bones" (supervised by Vera Khokhlova, reviewer Alisa Krokhmal).

Both theses were assessed as excellent, and Fedor's work was unanimously selected by the committee for participation in the R.V. Khokhlov student work competition from the Department of Acoustics.
