LIMU researcher Maria Karzova became a laureate of the Moscow Government Prize for young scientists!
On 4th of February 2025, on the eve of Russian Science Day, the Moscow Government Prizes for Young Scientists ceremony was held in the White Hall of Moscow City Hall. Among 1,300 applications submitted to the competition in 22 categories, only 50 winners were selected. In the «Physics and Astronomy» nomination, one of the five laureates was LIMU researcher Maria Karzova, who received the award for her work “Nonlinear acoustic waves with shock fronts in medical and aeroacoustic applications: new possibilities of application, measurement, and numerical modeling.” The award ceremony was broadcast live by news channels. We congratulate Maria Karzova on receiving this prestigious award and wish her new scientific achievements!
The Moscow Government Prizes for Young Scientists competition has been held since 2013. During this time, 758 Moscow specialists have received awards for their contribution to Russian science and technology. This year, researches of more than 300 Moscow organizations submitted their applications to participate in the competition.
