LIMU PhD students Krokhmal Alisa and Tyurina Anastasia have successfully passed the course “Neural networks and their application in scientific research” based on the Physics Faculty, MSU. They were also awarded for the best scientific publication and course work.
In June 2022, the competition of scientific student works for graduates named after R.V. Khokhlov and the competition of papers for 2nd year students was held. As a result, the master's thesis of Lyuba Kotelnikova and the paper of Maria Sergeeva were among the winners.
On the 21st of June, a solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas to graduates of the Faculty of Physics took place at the Moscow State University (MSU). All our graduates of the master's program-2022 Elena Konnova, Liubov Kotelnikova, Polina Pestova, and Daria Chupova were awarded diplomas with honors by the rector of MSU. Fedor Nartov, Oleg Solontsov, Nikita Falkov, and Egor Korovko successfully completed the undergraduate program and got bachelor's degree. Congratulations to LIMU graduates on their diplomas!
From 7th to 10th of June, the 21st International Symposium on Therapeutic Ultrasound ISTU 2022 was held in a hybrid format, in-person part taking place in Toronto, Canada. Laboratory LIMU was represented by junior researcher Pavel Rosnitskiy, PhD student Alisa Krokhmal and Bachelor's degree alumni Kseniia Tumanova and Azamat Kaloev.
From 5th to 10th of June 2022, the LIMU team participated in the XXXIII All-Russian School-seminar "Wave Phenomena: Physics and Applications" named after Professor A.P. Sukhorukov (“Waves-2022”), held in a hybrid in-person/virtual format in the resort of MSU "Krasnovidovo". LIMU presented 7 reports in the sections "Acoustics of inhomogeneous media" and "Bio- and medical applications of wave physics". Two of our participants were awarded certificates for the best report!
LIMU members, PhD students and students took part at the two events which were held from April 18 to April 22 at Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. Within the framework of the scientific conference of students, graduate students and young scientists "Lomonosov 2022", 6 students of LIMU presented their works, and graduate student E.M. Ponomarchuk and junior researcher P.B. Rosnitsky made presentations at the scientific conference "Lomonosov Readings - 2022".
