From March 20 to April 3, 2024, the Physics Section of scientific conference “Lomonosov Readings 2024” was held at the Physics Faculty of Moscow State University. As LIMU representatives, our Associate Professor Sergey Tsysar and graduate student Daria Chupova took part in the conference.

The talk by Sergey Tsysar  was presented in the subsection “Radiophysics, Electronics and Acoustics” and was devoted to LIMU latest achievements in the field of acoustic holography methods for high-precision and rapid characterization of the oscillation structure of ultrasound sources and the fields they produce, as well as for calibration of ultrasonic sensors.

LIMU graduate student Daria Chupova took part in the subsection “Photon and quantum technologies. Digital medicine". The talk was devoted to the results of our joint research with the Medical Center of Moscow State University within the grant from Interdisciplinary Scientific and Educational School of Moscow University on compensation of ultrasound beam aberrations during transcranial therapy of the brain based on CT and MRI data.
