From 23^rd to 28^th of August 2020 the XVII All-Russian School-seminar "Wave Phenomena in Inhomogeneous Media" named after A.P. Sukhorukov ("Waves-2020"), organized by the Department of Photonics and Microwave Physics, Faculty of Physics, Lomonosov Moscow State University was held. The school-seminar was held in a distance format on the Zoom platform. The program of the school-seminar "Waves-2020" included 14 sections. From the LIMU, students Anya Tsekhanovich and Azamat Kaloev took part in the school. They presented oral reports in the sections "Bio- and Medical Applications of Wave Physics" and "Acoustics of Inhomogeneous Media". According to the results of the work of the school, both Anya and Azamat were awarded certificates for the best report of a young scientist in their section. Also LIMU members S.A. Tsysar, A.V. Nikolaeva, D.A. Nikolaev, and S.A. Petrosyan were part of the School organizing committee, and O.A. Sapozhnikov was a member of the program committee and head of the section "Acoustics of inhomogeneous media".
