In December 2019, LIMU PhD student Suren A. Petrosyan and M.S. student Ekaterina M. Ponomarchuk received International Student Grants from the Acoustical Society of America to support the research of promising graduate students in acoustics. The names of Grant awardees were announced on September 21, 2020 at the opening of the III All-Russian Acoustical Conference combined with the XV All-Russian Conference "Applied Technologies in Hydroacoustics and Hydrophysics" in Saint Petersburg.
