On May 18, 2024, the annual largest holiday of the Physics Department - the Day of Physicist - took place at Moscow State University. This year, the holiday is also an anniversary - it is 45 years old!

Traditionally, on this day, the Faculty gets decorated and opens its doors to everyone: the Faculty holds concerts, competitions, workshops and many more.

As part of the "People of the Year" competition, our PhD student Ekaterina Ponomarchuk was recognized as the winner in the "Young Researcher of the Year" nomination and received an honorary award from the Dean of the Physics Faculty!
