Congratulations to LIMU students on receiving scholarships and grants!

Summer and the first half of the fall semester were successful for students of LIMU laboratory! 4th year undergraduate students Anna Kunturova, Lyubov Kotelnikova, Polina Pestova and 2nd year graduate students Ekaterina Ponomarchuk, Anastasia Bobina, and Shamil Asfandiyarov (from the left to the right in the photo) received stipends for excellence in research and studies at the Physics Faculty of Moscow State University. 3rd year undergraduate student Anatoly Podyman was awarded a scholarship for excellent social activities at the Faculty of Physics. Also, Lyubov Kotelnikova and Polina Pestova received personal stipends named after famous scientists, A.N. Tikhonov and M.V. Lomonosov, for excellence in research and studies at the Physics Faculty of MSU.

In addition, LIMU students Polina Pestova and Anna Kunturova received student stipends from the Focused Ultrasound Global Internship Program for the summer of 2019. Anna's research project is devoted to ultrastructural analysis of BH-destruction of hematoma using various focus trajectories. Polina conducted a study of the effect of focus trajectory on the uniformity of the temperature field generated in biological tissue upon exposure to shockwave ultrasound.
