Congratulations to LIMU students and postgraduates on receiving grants, awards and scholarships!

Despite the remote work and studying, the collection of LIMU students’ and postgraduates’ achievements was actively replenished with new awards, grants and scholarships!

Theoretical Physics and Mathematics Advancement Foundation “BASIS” supports students in their intention to continue their studies as MSU Physics Faculty MSc and PhD students. This summer, LIMU students Elena Konnova, Lyubov Kotelnikova and Polina Pestova became the winners of the scholarship competition among those entering the MSc program, and Shamil Asfandiyarov and Ekaterina Ponomarchuk - among the applicants to postgraduate studies.

This fall semester, LIMU students Kseniya Tumanova, Anna Kunturova, Anna Tsekhanovich, Azamat Kaloev, Elena Konnova and Anatoly Podyman were awarded the State Enhanced Academic Stipend for students prospering in scientific, educational and social activities.

For their excellent studies, Lyubov Kotelnikova and Polina Pestova were honored with personal stipends named after famous scientists, A.N. Tikhonov and M.V. Lomonosov, respectively.

Daria Chupova and Elena Konnova were awarded student grants from the Focused Ultrasound Global Internship Program. They presented the results of their supported projects at the 7th International Symposium on Focused Ultrasound with reports "Aberration correction for the transskull focusing of high-intensity ultrasound at various depths in brain" (Daria Chupova) and "The use of graphic accelerators in modeling nonlinear ultrasound beams based on the Westervelt equation" (Elena Konnova).

And also, Ekaterina Ponomarchuk passed a multi-stage selection process and replenished the collection of LIMU awards with a personal scholarship from the Vladimir Potanin Foundation.

Congratulations to LIMU students and postgraduates and wish them to keep this up!
