In February 2023, the final of the «Young Scientists 2.0» competition of the project "Synthesis" of the Gennady Komissarov Foundation for the Support of Young Scientists was held. The fund was named in honor of Professor, Doctor of Science Gennady Germanovich Komissarov, a distinguished specialist in photochemistry and biophysics. The aim of the fund is to create conditions for the scientific realization of promising young scientists. Shamil Asfandiyarov presented his project "Development and research of a multi-element spiral focusing array for creating high-intensity ultrasound beams in the air". According to the results of two-stage selection, Shamil's project was in the top-20 projects (out of 185 projects that passed to the second stage) and was awarded a scholarship for a period of 10 months. The project is being carried out under the supervision of O.A. Sapozhnikov.  Congratulations!
