LIMU at the All-Russian Science Festival NAUKA 0+

From October 6 to 8, 2023, the All-Russian Science festival NAUKA 0+ was held in Moscow. The LIMU laboratory took part in the exhibition held at the Fundamental Library of Moscow State University. The LIMU students and graduate students told visitors about the use of ultrasound in medicine and experimentally demonstrated its capabilities. The LIMU demonstrations sparked great interest among visitors and left a good impression! Details are presented in the video.

LIMU participation in the International Congress on Ultrasonics (ICU 2023)

From 18th to 21st September 2023, LIMU graduate students and staff attended the International Congress on Ultrasonics (ICU 2023) in Beijing, China. The laboratory presented 9 reports in different sections. Details of the conference are presented in the video.

Internship of Professor of the Siberian Federal University B.B. Damdinov at LIMU

From June 12 to June 26, 2023, Bair Batuevich Damdinov, Professor of the Siberian Federal University (SFU), visited our laboratory as part of an internship at the Department of Acoustics of the Faculty of Physics of Moscow State University.

LIMU's participation in the XXXIV Russian school-seminar "Waves-2023"

From 28^th of May to 2^nd of June 2023, the XXXIV Russian school-seminar "Waves-2023" was held in in-person format. LIMU presented 9 talks in several sections, and four of our PhD and MS students were awarded certificates for the best presentation.

Congratulations to Vera Khokhlova with an honorary award!

V.A. Khokhlova received the honorary award of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA) - the Rayleigh-Helmholtz Interdisciplinary Silver Medal in Biomedical Acoustics and Physical Acoustics. The ASA announcement for this award recognizes Vera Khokhlova’s contributions to the application of nonlinear acoustics to medical ultrasound and her important role in the evolution of this field.

LIMU at the International Scientific Conference for Undergraduate and Graduate Students and Young Scientists "Lomonosov"

On April 11, 2023, at the Faculty of Physics of Moscow State University, meetings of the sections "Acoustics" and "Biophysics" were held. It held as part of the International Scientific Conference for Undergraduate and Graduate Students and Young Scientists "Lomonosov-2023". Students of LIMU presented 7 reports.
