The first use of a compensation method for phase deviations of a unique multi-element focused array

LIMU staff and PhD students S.A. Tsysar, P.B. Rosnitsky, S.A. Asfandiyarov, S.A. Petrosyan, V.A. Khokhlova and O.A. Sapozhnikov presented in the Acoustical Physics publication the first use of the acoustic holography method for phase correction of a unique multi-element HIFU array with a mosaic arrangement of elements acquired with the support of the Moscow State University development program.

LIMU lab tour for “Letovo” school students

On April 4, 2024, school students of grades 8–11 from the private school “Letovo” came in for a LIMU lab tour. LIMU undergraduates, PhD students and staff prepared experimental demonstrations and educated prospective university students on the capabilities of ultrasound and its evolving applications in industry and medicine.

Our paper titled «Histology-based quantification of boiling histotripsy outcomes via ResNet-18 network: Towards mechanical dose metrics» has been published in a top-rated journal Ultrasonics (Q1, IF 4.2) – the result of our study devoted to the development of a threshold exposure dose for effective mechanical fractionation of unwanted tissues by boiling histotripsy technique.
